You know how many video games are released around this time of the year? Not much. This month is pretty barren for big title releases, but this year’s August had a couple ones: Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. Now we can officially call August the “I Never Asked For This” month because Tripwire Interactive has delayed Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad until September 13th. The reason? Bugs and polish.
Tripwire’s official statement for the delay is short, but simple:
“While we understand the fans are clamoring to get their hands on the game, we felt we needed the extra two weeks to get it right and add the extra polish the game (and the players) deserve.”
While Tripwire are really nice for working hard on making a product we gamers deserve, I’ve been waiting for this game since last year. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME.
Guess I’ll Never Stop Looking until then.
