For those of you who like Enemy Territory games, but were disinclined to pay money for a below average game, then this weekend should be good for you. The team-based shooter Brink is on a free weekend on Steam from Thursday to Sunday. It’s also on sale on Steam for $24.99, if you really want to own it. Our Master Sensei Alex Donaldson has his own review of the game here as well.
Brink is also included in the QuakeCon 2011 pack, a pack of Bethesda/iD games that might make you faint. The collection includes All the Doom, Quake, Hexen, and Wolfenstein games, as well as the Fallout 3 GOTY Edition, Fallout: New Vegas (DLC included), Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, Call of Cthulu, Morrowind, Oblivion, and a few other titles for the price of $69.99. RAGE and Skyrim are also now available for preorder on Steam, and preordering both of them will entitle you to a 50% discount on the aforementioned QuakeCon 2011 pack.
So what’re you waiting for? GO SPEND YOUR MONEY.
